These settings are designed to configure workflows for various use cases, including auctions, retail, ecommerce, pallet manifesting, and inventory management. Scan Settings are configured and specific for each user.

What Are Scan Settings?
Scan Settings in the manyfastscan app allow you to customize how the scanning process behaves. These settings control label printing, image sourcing, rescanning actions, screen skipping, and location prompts. This will configure your workflow differently for Retail, auction, palette manifesting, online retail, etc.

| Camera | Automatic Camera Open? | Set camera to automatically open when scanning a barcode. |
| Automatically Open Camera After Taking First Photo? | Sets camera to reopen automatically after each captured photo. | |
| Skip Photo Capture Screen On New Scan? | When enabled, the app skips the photo capture screen during new item scans, useful for manifest-only workflows. | |
| Skip Conditions Screen On New Scan? | Skips the condition entry screen when scanning new items, streamlining the process for certain workflows. | |
| Skip Pricing Screen On New Scan? | Bypasses the pricing screen during new item scans, beneficial for users who rely on automated pricing or prefer to enter prices later. | |
| Scan Workflow | Label Print Mode (Automatically Print / Print On Button Click) | Automatically Print: Labels print immediately upon saving an item. Print On Button Click: Labels print only when "Save and Print" is selected. |
| Estimate Price Popup Enabled? | Determines if a popup for entering an estimated price is displayed when pricing information isn’t found. | |
| Wait Time For Search Price | Defines how long (in seconds) the app waits for pricing information before triggering the Estimate Price Popup if enabled. | |
| Is Automatic Title Shortening Enabled? | Enables automatic shortening of titles to a set character length. | |
| Title Length | Defines the maximum character length for shortened titles (0 disables). | |
| Number of Stock Photos to Collect | Sets the number of stock images to pull for scanned items. | |
| Thumbnail Display Mode (User Generated / Stock Images) | Controls whether item thumbnails display user-generated photos or stock images. | |
| Rescan Preferred Mode (Always Ask / Add to Manifest / Add & Print) | Determines the default action taken when rescanning an item. | |
| Location | Request Location after Rescan? | Prompts for location entry after rescanning an item. |
| Location Required after Rescan? | Forces a location entry after rescanning an item. | |
| Request Location after UPC/Item# Scan? | Prompts for location input after scanning a UPC or item number. | |
| Enable Last Used Location Prefill? | Automatically fills in the most recently used location on new scans. | |
| Manifest Items View | Show Manifest Item Price in List Manifest Items View? | Toggles visibility of item prices in the manifest item list view. |
| Show Manifest Item Quantity in List Manifest Items View? | Toggles visibility of item quantities in the manifest item list view. | |
| Barcode Scanners | Auto-Focus on UPC and Item# entry fields | Enables automatic focus on UPC and Item# entry fields for compatibility with barcode scanners. |
| Other | No UPC Express Entry | Allows quick entry of items without scanning a UPC. |
