Format Settings

Tab	Field	Description	Usage
Generic	Download Format:	Choose between CSV or Excel file format for exports.
	Round Retail Price Up	Rounds MSRP or pricing fields to the nearest whole number. Ideal for auction or eCommerce platforms that don't allow decimal values.
	Send Email with Download Link on Completion	Automatically emails the download file link to the user when the file finishes generating.
	Generic Sort by Lot Number (ASC)	Sort the downloaded data by lot number in ascending order.
Title	Extend Title into Description	If the title is longer than the specified length, it will be extend into the descriptions	Options: Yes/No
	Add Price to Title	Include price in the title? The price will be prefixed to the title in the format: $XX.XX - Title.	Options: Yes/No
	Show Price in Title if Greater Than	Show price in the title if the price is greater than the specified amount. Leave blank if you want to show the price in the title regardless of the amount.	Options: <Blank> $0.00 up to your desired dollar value.
	Multiply Title Price by Qty	Multiply the price in the title by the quantity of item? The price will be multiplied by the quantity and prefixed to the in the format: $XX.XX - Title.	Options: Yes/No
	Add Size to Title	Include items size in the title? The size will be prefixed to the title in the forme: <Size> Title.	Options: Yes/No
	Size Field to Use in Title	Select which size field to use when adding size to title. If Size is an important field for your Use Case, we recommend using the 'M Size' field, which is a Manual or User Entry Field. The Download Process will give preference to the User's entry vs system data	Options: Manifest Item Specification’s Size Manually Entered Sizing Info
	Download Title Length Limit	Limit the length of the title. If the title is longer than the specified length, it will be trimmed to the specified length for the title and the remaining characters will be added to the top of the Description field	Options: This is a full number defining the max title length (Used for sites that have maximum number of characters available for the title field)
	Title in All Caps	Convert the title to all caps	Options: Yes/No
Description	Number of Sentences in Description	Number sentences that the description should have. If the description has more than the number of sentences specified, it will be trimmed to the defined number of sentences.	Options: Full number greater than 0 (zero)
	Add Comma In Combined Description	Add a comma to the combined fields when building a description value? Use (Enable) this for uploads to Auctioneer Software.	Options: Yes/No
	Add Price to Description	Include price in the description? The price will be prefixed to the description in the format: $XX.XX Description.	Options: Yes/No
	Show Price in Description if Greater Than or Equal to	Show price in the description if the price is greater than or equal to the specified amount. Leave blank if you want to show the price in the description regardless of the price.	Options: <Blank> $0.00 up to your desired dollar value.
Photos	Split Photos Into Columns (10 max)	Separates individual product images into their own columns in the export file. Supports up to 10 photos per item, with each image in its own column for easier uploading to platforms like eBay or Shopify.
	Split Photos Into Columns Format	Controls how photo URLs or filenames are structured in each column. Useful if the receiving platform requires a specific image naming format or delimiter.	Photos downloaded from manyfastscan will show in this format LOT <separator> PHOTO#.jpg If there are 2 photos for Lot #1, it will start the photo name with the lot number, ad a separator, and end with the photo#. See examples below: Separators: Underscore(_): ex 1_1.jpg, 1_2.jpg... Hyphen (-): ex. 1-1.jpg, 1-2.jpg [lot] (index): 1 (1).jpg, 1 (2).jpg

Download Presets

Each Download Preset has its own set of Download Field Options. You can create templates for downloads for specific purposes, such as uploading to various platforms or custom reports. For example, use the WhatNot fields for your download template for uploading your WhatNot listings prior to your show. 

Types of Presets

User Settings - Specific to each user and are not shared across user accounts

Account Settings - Accessible to all users on the account

Custom Presets - Settings defined as a template and accessible by all users on the account. Has the additional functionality of Preset Configuration Override.

Preset Configuration Override

If you do not need Photo Links Split into Columns for all of your Download Presets, disable 'Split Photos Into Columns (10 max)' in your Format Settings for all downloads, and only enable for the Custom Presets which you need.

Download Field Options

Field	Description
Display Name (Column Name in Download)	Column Name in Download
Field Value (Only 'User Defined Field' values are editable)	Value assigned to a User Defined Field
Combine in Description?	Anything placed in this section will appear in the public listing seen by your customer.  See Example
Enable HTML? (Option only visible when 'Combine in Description' is selected)	Applies HTML code before or after data which is being 'Combined in Description'. This is used for platforms which support HTML and ignore the formatting of the exported data from manyfastscan. Common uses are when an Auction Platform ignores the line breaks in the description for each item Combined in the description. By adding the HTML tag <br> after the field, a line break will be inserted and each item combined in the description will be presented on separate lines.
Download Field?	Columns shown in the exported spreadsheet
Custom Boolean Value?	Boolean fields are Yes/No fields such as 'Shipping Option' If you want to assign a custom value for Yes/No you can do this here. You can set the value for 'Yes' to be 'Shipping Available' and the value for 'No' to be 'No Shipping' If selected, you can provide a custom value for the boolean field. If not selected, the field will have it's system default value.
Omit if No	For Yes/No fields, if the value is 'No' the data will not be shown. For example, if you have the field 'Damaged?' combined in your description and the value equals 'No' - there will be no mention of damage in your description. If this box is not checked, it will show in your description as 'Damaged?: No'
Default Value if Empty	Value if there is no data in the selected field. Can use Variables
Custom Formula Expression	Overrides database data to use the variables available as a formula. For example, if you want to include the Lot Number in the title, you will use the formula {lot}-{title}

Download Field Types

Field types
Database Field	Direct from manyfastscan database/data from the cataloguing process in the manyfastscan as created by the user
Boolean Field	Yes/No Field
User Defined Field	A field applied to all rows in the exported spreadsheet. Often used for platforms where fields like 'Seller Code' are needed and do not change on an item by item basis. All items will have the same value for this field. The field is named in the Display Name column, and the value of the field is stored in the Field Value column
Variables	We have variables available to customize how your data is exported Custom Formula = {title} - Item#:{manifest_item_id}

Download Field Variables

Variables defined in the 'Variables Definition' Accordion (click the 'Variables Definition' bar to expand) are available for custom formulas. Only listed variables will show data from the manyfastscan system in 'Default Value if Empty' or 'Custom Formula Expression' fields in the Download Field Options. For example the variables/formula to have the Product Condition in the Title of your product listing is:

Read Description Flag

If an item is damaged or missing parts, instead of putting "Read Description" in the title of the listing, when the 'Read Description' Flag is selected for an item, manyfastscan will add the 'Read Description' text to the top of the photo. The Read Description text will only apply to the first lot photo.

Lot Thumbnail Subtitle

For items which you want to clarify details, the Lot Thumbnail Subtitle will extend the first photo of the lot and add a caption. You can enable this field in the View Settings.
