Controls which fields are visible and required in different parts of the system. This allows you to simplify workflows, enforce data standards, and tailor input screens to match your process.

Each section defines attribute behavior during specific actions like editing an item, manual entry, or post-scan details. You can toggle whether a field is shown, required, both, or neither.

View Settings

View settings allow you to edit the attributes that are displayed and required on various places in the system.

Edit ItemThese are the attributes that are displayed and required when editing an item.
No UPC Add
These are the attributes that are displayed and required when adding an item without a UPC. Sometimes referred to as "Manual Entry"
More Details After ScanThese are the attributes that are displayed and required when adding more details after scanning an item.
PricingShows Retail Price and Discounted Sale Price

View Settings Configuration: This field allows you to switch between
  1. Account Settings: Whatever changes you make affect all users.
  2. User Settings: Changes here only affect selected user profiles. Example: one user for retail, one for auctions.
  3. WhatNOT: This is a setting configuration for WhatNot related auctions only.
  4. eBay: This is a setting configuration for eBay related ecommerce only.
  5. Add New: Add a new, or create custom.

View Preset Templates

Each View Preset Template will have its own set of fields selected to be shown to the user for cataloguing. The default template is 'Account Settings'. The 'User Settings' template is unique to the user who is logged in and useful for ad-hoc scenarios.

Use this to clean up the User Interface and focus only on the fields your team actively updates.
No UPC Add
Controls which fields are shown and/or required when manually adding an item without a barcode.


Also called Manual Entry, this is useful for bulk items, general merchandise, or non-retail inventory.

Used when your workflow includes adding condition, packaging, or category data after initial intake.
Pricing After ScanShows Retail Price, Discounted Sale Price, and allows user to adjust the Discount. Used predominantly for retail/ecommerce

Displayed? - Field will be visible on selected screen
Entry Required? - User must enter value in the field to proceed with completing the product listing

To configure a View Template, choose each Screen and select which fields you want to display and make required in the cataloguing process.
