How to Create Multiple Items

Creating multiple items in a manifest is an important shortcut that allows you to list 5, 6, 10, or even 20 (as many as you need) of the same item quickly. You can choose to list them consecutively or stagger them throughout your manifest depending on your cataloging needs.

Step-by-Step: Creating Multiple Items

Step 1: Open the App and Log In

Launch the manyfastscan mobile app and sign in with your credentials.

Step 2: Go to Your Manifest

• Tap the ☰ (three-bar menu) in the top-left corner.

• Navigate to: Manifest Generator > Manifests

• Tap on the manifest where you want to add items.

Step 3: Tap the “+” Button to Add a New Item

You can now scan a new item. You will need this item to be created first, then you can follow the other steps to add multiples of it. 

Step 4: Scan or Enter the First Item

Use the camera to scan a UPC, ASIN, or FNSKU, or use one of the six supported modes (manual, app share, AI photo, etc.).

Once completed., you are now ready to duplicate the item.

Step 5: Tap the 3-Dot Menu > Add Multiples

Tap the 3-dot menu to the right of the lot number.
Select "Add Multiples" from the menu.

Step 6: Fill Out the Add Manifest Item Multiple Form

Tap “Add Multiples”

Example: To insert 9 identical items starting at lot 20, spaced every 10 lots, with no section assigned and no maximum limit, fill out the form as follows:

• Number of multiple inserts: 9

• Insert 1 every X lots: 10

• Lot starting from: 20

• Section: (leave blank)

• Maximum lot number: 0 (disabled)

You will be asked if you want to print labels. If so, make sure the peeler on the printer is turned off. If it is not, multiple labels will print and stick to each other

This is the default functionality. At the top of the screen there is a switch to choose "Same Manifest" or "Different Manifest". By default, "Same Manifest" is selected

If you wish to copy your multiples to a Different Manifest, select the button for "Different Manifest" and select the Manifest Group and Manifest you want to create multiples in
