Catalog for Retail - Online & In-Store
Getting Started with Listing for Retail
There are some settings which are best suited for listing items for retail sale. We will walk through this process which includes changes to the following:
- Account Settings
- Scan Settings
- ZPL Templates
- manyfastscan has several built-in retail label templates which show the MSRP, Discounted Sale Price and includes a barcode that can be scanned from your POS System
- On the web, use the System ZPL Templates to copy the retail ZPL template to your ZPL Template repository.
- Once you have the Retail Template available on your account, make sure when you create a Manifest Group you select the correct ZPL Template for Retail
- If Manifests have already been created in the Manifest Group you want to use for Retail, you will have to edit the settings of each manifest to use the ZPL Template for Retail

Step 1. manyfastscan.com > General Settings > Account Settings
- Start on "Generic" tab
- Force Fresh Data: Toggle to Yes(yellow): Force new data from source when scanning barcodes.
- If you want to reuse data previously created on your account, you can keep this toggled off
- Example: User changes Title/Description/Price of an item and the next time that item is listed in a manifest, the user modified data will be used.
- Show Dashboard to Admins Only: Optional, this is for controlling employee views.
- Premium Price Multiplier: Useful for offsetting credit card processing fees.
- A 3% fee would be entered as 1.03
- Discount Price Multiplier: This is the inverse of your discount:
- Example: 40% off retail would be a multiplier of .60
- Default Auction Starting Price: Not used for Online Retail
- Default Auction Reserve Price: Not used for Online Retail.
