Manifest Generator > Manifest Group
This is your starting point. Manifest Groups are required before creating a Manifest. They group related manifests together, helping teams avoid duplication and enabling better organization and performance tracking.
- If you are preparing an Auction, name the Manifest Group the same name as your Auction
See: Create a Manifest Group
Manifest Generator > Manifest
Manifests contain the items you're scanning and cataloging. It is required that you create your Manifest Group first, then create a Manifest within that group.
- It is recommended that for employee/user creating product listings has their own Manifest within the Manifest Group. This keeps the user focused only on the product listings which they have created. This prevents any confusion of "Hey! Did you do this listing or did I?"
- We make it easy to autogenerate Manifests when creating a Manifest Group. The software will generate Manifests with the naming pattern [Manifest Group]_[Employee Initials]. For more info, see link above for Manifest Groups and below for Manifests.
