WhatNot: Configuration & Download


To configure manyfastscan for WhatNot there are 2 key steps. Setting the View for the User and choosing the correct download Template.
Setting the User View (needs to be done for each user listing items for WhatNot)

Step 1. To set the User View go to the Main Menu in the app  Tap the ☰ Menu > General Settings > View Settings. 
   

Step 2. Tap on the dropdown for ‘Setting Presets’ and select ‘WhatNot’ then Save Changes.
  

Step 3. To revert back to Account Settings, eBay, or other User Specific Settings:
  1. Tap on "View Settings Presets"
  2. Select Desired "View Settings" example: Account Settings.
  3. Tap "Save Changes"
 

Download data for Whatnot

Step 1. Go To beta.manyfastscan.com > General Settings > Download Settings
      Click on "WhatNot" and "Photo(s)" tabs. Make sure both are selected as in the image below.

     
Step 2. Change your settings as listed below.
  1. Toggle to YES: "Split Photos Into Columns" - Set field below to 10.
  2. "Split Photos Into Columns Format" - Make certain it is set to "Image URL Index"
  3. Save changes.

       

Step 3. Navigate to Manifest Generator > Manifest Group
  1. Click on the "Download" icon to the left of your selected Manifest Group

Step 4. This is your "Download Screen." The top of your screen should say "Start Download - (Name of Manifest Group)"
  1. Select "Download Everything"
  2. Select "Download with Photos"
  3. Change "Download Settings Preset Template" to "WhatNot"
  4. Click "Download"

Step 5. Compiling Manifest Group for Download
  1. A Green Bar will appear as progress for your Manifest Group Download Compilation.
  2. "Active" Below the Green Bar will be the word "Active" this means it is in progress.
  3. "Inactive" When it switches to "Inactive"(as pictured below) it is ready for download.
  4. Click the "Download" icon above the Green Bar.


Step 6. Your folders and files have been downloaded to your computer as a zipped file.
  1. You can locate your file on your computer in your "Downloads" folder.
  2. NOTE: If using a PC, you will need to "Extract all" files.
  3. NOTE: If using a Mac, it will auto extract.


Step 7. Locate your file in your "Downloads" folder and "Extract All"
Step 8. Open the extracted Excel file and follow the steps below.
  1. After downloading the file, you will have 2 extra columns ‘Image URL 9’ and ‘Image URL 10’ – Delete these columns from your spreadsheet. WhatNot only accepts a max of 8 images.

 

Uploading to Whatnot

You must be registered as a WhatNot Seller for the following steps to be active on your account.


Step 2. Select the Cloud icon with the up arrow

Step 3. Locate your file in its extracted location and upload it here.

Congratulations... Your data will load into your WhatNot Inventory for your next auction!
