What Are Sort Buckets?

Sort Buckets are user-defined categories that help organize manifest items within a manifest group. Each bucket can be customized by name, color, and pricing rules (greater than, less than) to support your sorting, pricing, or downstream listing workflows.

Key Features

  • Custom Labels & Filters: Buckets can be created for specific inventory, pricing tiers, or sales channels.

  • Visual Sorting: Use color to tag and quickly identify buckets.

Configuration & Use

  • Sort Buckets are enabled at the Manifest Group level.
  • You must activate Sort Buckets under the Manifest Group Settings > Enabled Sort Buckets to use them when scanning or managing items.
  • After configuration, the app will sort qualifying items into the correct bucket based on the defined rules.

Example Use Cases:

Pricing
  • $20 or Less = Bin Store
  • $300 or More = Discount Retail Store

Step-by-Step: Creating a Sort Bucket

Step 1: Navigate to Sort Buckets

  • Tap the ☰ Menu

  • Go to Manifest Generator > Sort Buckets


Step 2: Tap the ➕ Plus Button


  • Tap the + icon in the top-right corner to add a new Sort Bucket.

Step 3: Configure the Bucket

  • Color Selector
  • Name
  • Price Greater Than X
  • Price Less Than X

Step 4: Tap Save

  • When finished, tap Save. Your Sort Bucket is now active and can be assigned.

Assign Sort Buckets when Creating a Manifest Group

If you have Sort Buckets created on your account, after you create your Manifest Group and hit 'Save', you will be prompted to assign Sort Buckets to the newly created Manifest Group. If you don't want to assign Sort Buckets to this Manifest Group, simply click the 'X' in the top right of the screen


Assign Sort Buckets when Editing a Manifest Group

  1. On App go to Manifest Group page
  2. Tap on 3 Dot Menu in upper right corner of Manifest Group

Tap on "Configure Enabled Sort Buckets."


Select desired Sort Bucket to assign to a Manifest Group.
Click Save.

Sort Buckets can only be assigned to a Manifest Group from the App (at this time)


Creating a Sort Bucket

Step 1. Click on "Add Sort Bucket" in the upper right hand corner.


Step 2. Set your conditions for the Sort Bucket:
  • Name
  • Select Color
  • Brand
  • Price Greater Than X
  • Price Less Than X

Step 3. Click "Add" in the lower right hand corner.

Assign Sort Buckets when Creating a Manifest Group
